Synopsis

Claudette Colbert and Edmund Lowe star in The Misleading Lady, a romantic comedy about finding love (and hate) in the most unlikely places. When bored socialite Helen (Colbert) auditions for a coveted theater role, she is offered a seemingly impossible bargain: receive a marriage proposal from gruff big-game hunter Jack (Lowe) in the next three days and the part is hers. During their whirlwind (and disastrous) romance, Helen quickly discovers that love isn't a game…it's all-out war! © 1932 Universal Studios. All Rights Reserved.
