Synopsis

Scarface (1983): Al Pacino stars as Cuban émigré Tony Montana in this remake of the 1932 gangster classic. Failing to make it legitimately, Tony and his friend Manny Ray turn to a life of crime, building a successful drug empire in 1980s Miami.   Carlito's Way: Al Pacino gives an electrifying performance as a former drug kingpin who is sprung from prison by his high-powered attorney. He stuns the New York underworld by vowing to go straight, but his plans are undermined by misguided loyalties and an outmoded code of honor.   Casino: Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, and Joe Pesci star in this gripping, fact-based tale of the Mob's glittering casino empire in 1973 Las Vegas, where ambition, passion and greed brought it all crashing down.   American Gangster: Russell Crowe is an honest cop battling drugs and police corruption in 1970s New York. The main focus of his investigation is a huge heroin empire built by a charismatic drug dealer (Denzel Washington) who imports enormous amounts of top-grade heroin from Southeast Asia.   Public Enemies: Johnny Depp stars as the charismatic and elusive bank robber John Dillinger, marked by the FBI as America's first "Public Enemy Number One." Gangster Squad: It's 1949, and ruthless mob king Mickey Cohen has Los Angeles in his grip. It's enough to intimidate anyone…except for a small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders fighting for the soul of the city. Training Day: Denzel Washington delivers an Academy Award®-winning performance opposite Ethan Hawke as a mad-dog narco cop who blurs the line between cop and criminal as he mentors an idealistic new partner on the rookie's training day.  A History of Violence: Tom Stall, a well-respected man who leads a quiet life with his loving wife and family in a small town, is lauded as a vigilante hero when he kills a robber in self-defense at the diner he runs. The Town: Based on the novel Prince of Thieves by Chuck Hogan, the film follows a career criminal (Ben Affleck) who plans his gang's biggest score while also trying to find a way out of the life. The Departed: Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson star in this action-packed thriller set in Boston, where tensions between the police department and an Irish-American gang are primed to explode. GoodFellas: Academy Award®-winning director Martin Scorsese exposes the fascinating and violent underworld of New York's Mafia families through the life of insider Henry Hill as he rises from small-time thug to mobster in this searing, epic crime drama based on the chilling true-life bestseller Wiseguy by Nicholas Pileggi. © 2025 Warner Bros.
