With plans for a breeding ranch, Rock Rockwell and his partner set out to capture Outlaw, a spirited stallion, unaware he once belonged to Aldis Spain, their neighbor's niece. Agreeing to help her trap the horse, Rock runs afoul of Harry Jennings, a rival rancher who wants Outlaw for himself.
